CranioSacral Therapy uses a very gentle touch to help relieve stress and tension patterns in the body, especially those affecting the brain and spinal cord. As the picture above illustrates, there are many bones surrounding the brain. Car accidents, falls, head bumps, sports and everyday life affects how our body holds those patterns. The body does a great job compensating for those incidents and over time they accumulate which may result in pain.
Often, clients are surprised to learn that an accident several years prior to their session may be contributing in some way to the pain they are having today. Clients often report how relaxed they are during the session and how they feel one part of the body is affected even though I'm working somewhere else. The body is one continuous unit and a CranioSacral Therapy session treats the body as a whole.

CranioSacral Therapy for newborns and young children is now available at my office. The earlier a client (newborn - adult) is able to receive CST after symptoms start, the better the results. Disposable, latex free gloves are used while mom or dad holds their baby.
CranioSacral Therapy complements other therapies a client may be already receiving and is not intended to replace medical advice. It has been shown to be helpful for many conditions to include: ADD & ADHD, chronic ear infections, colic/reflux and digestive disorders, connective tissue disorders, lactation issues, tongue and lip ties, torticollis to name a few. (More complete list is on the brochure.)
