I understand how it feels when your child is in discomfort or pain and you don't know how to help. I'm a mom, too. When my daughter was a newborn, she projectile vomited every time we nursed. The doctor reassured me she would eventually outgrow it but it didn't seem normal to me. I didn't know about CranioSacral therapy at that time but knowing what I now know, I believe this therapy would have helped.
My job is to listen to your child and help reduce discomfort and pain. With a highly developed sense of intuition, I am guided to find stress and tension within your child's body and gently release those patterns. Often times a newborn or very young baby needs to nurse during part of their session. This helps them feel safe and nurtured while we work together. The session is truly about listening to what their needs are and to help their little bodies get out of pain and discomfort.
Parents of young children are encouraged to hold their child's hand, read books, bring small toys to play with their child during a session. Some parents allow their child to have some screen time during their session if they are concerned a 30 minute session is a long time to keep them engaged. If a child needs to sit up during the session, I adjust what I'm doing to their needs.

Lisa has worked on both of my kids, ages 4 and 3 months. She connects with their bodies and spirits immediately, knowing what they need to work on and how to make them comfortable. She sets their hearts at ease with music, her smile, and her calm demeanor. The bodywork she does affects them powerfully. My 4 year old feels stronger and less pain. My 3 month old relaxes and naps all afternoon following a visit. Lisa is very quick to respond to communication and always very helpful (I'm often bringing in lots of baby stuff, and she's also eager to assist in anyway). Her room is tastefully decorated with beautiful pictures and lamps. Her website is easy to use and makes scheduling and rescheduling appointments very intuitive. Lisa Snyder is definitely worth your time and money!
Review: child age 6 years - helping to correct dental cross-bite
My 6 year old had an underbite with a cross-bite, which we’ve been correcting with a MyoBrace, and treatments with Lisa, to help speed the process along so his mouth muscles would release a bit, making the MyoBrace more effective. Our Orthodontist said at my son’s 6 month appointment that she had never seen results so fast, and that his transformation thus far has been “remarkable!” His next follow-up appointment is in 3 months, but because he is progressing so quickly, it has been pushed up to 2 months. I hoped the cranial-sacral therapy would help speed up his process and am so happy to see that it has! My son really seems to enjoy his sessions with Lisa, and I can see his body relax as she works on him. Lisa has an exceptional bedside manner with him, and explained a lot of what she was doing to me, especially the first couple of sessions. I also feel very relaxed as I sit in during their sessions!
